EUROPEAN DEPARTMENT FOR SECURITY AND INFORMATION (DESI) HIGHLY CONSIDERED THE US AID TO THE LEBANESE ARMY THROUGH ITS DIRECTOR IN WASHINGTON :
The European Department for Security and Information (DESI) declared that they highly valued the efforts of its director in Washington, Dr. Tony Brady who is also a political advisor to Congressman Duncan Hunter, member of the Armed Forces Committee in the US Congress. Working together to bridge channels of communication with the Lebanese army’s senior leadership, which led to the necessary logistical support, as well as the support of President Michel Aoun and Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil.
The Political Bureau of the Secretary General of the Department (Desi) Ambassador Dr. Haitham Abu Said expressed that the mandate of Dr. Brady came because of his high competence in this regard and mutual credibility and long-standing public affairs and integrity in the approach that is characterized by a general nature. Ambassador Abu Said praised the actions of the Lebanese army commander General Joseph Aoun with the Syrian staff, which is the basis of the work in the fight against terrorism and the pursuit of the Takfiri groups that are present in both countries. He also praised the fruitful measures of the Director General of the Lebanese General Security, General Abbas Ibrahim, in his efforts to return back home the displaced Syrians
